First wave of projects completed

Six Capacity Collaborative members have essentially finished assessment projects - all part of an inaugural initiative by the network.

In its inaugural season, the Collaborative has launched a series of Capacity Analysis projects that assess organizational capacity around individual fundraising. The findings are meant to be shared among Collaborative members when all 16 projects are completed (estimated to be in early 2010).

The following projects have been completed (or near completion):

  1. Summer Search: Building brand recognition on a national scale
  2. Juma Ventures: Messaging, individual donor cultivation, board development,
  3. Child Advocates of Silicon Valley: Donor database
  4. RAFT: Individual donor cultivation, board development, and online social media
  5. Cleo Eulau Center: Messaging and marketing strategy
  6. Mission Hospice: Online social media and donor database

The Capacity Analyses are being conducted by Consulting Within Reach, with partial funding from charter Capacity Collaborative members, Philanthropic Ventures Foundation and the Peery Foundation.

For more detailed information on each project, see the project descriptions on the Consulting Within Reach website.
